Every wine lover has that one glass—the epiphany pour—that shifts everything they thought they knew about wine.
It was a Tuscan blend for me and this is my ode to it. It’s 80% Padthaway Sangiovese from Sam Ward, with 20% whole bunch Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon from John Innes.
Best enjoyed with good food and company you can at least tolerate—ideally, the kind you love
